If you’re familiar with the webcomic XKCD (and even more so if you’re not!) you should check out their new side project, What If? The latest post answers a question I may revisit when we discuss climate. Someone asked what would happen if you took all the continents and spun them (together) 90 degrees. The answer (as usual) is pretty interesting to think about.
If that doesn’t grab you, try the post on what would happen if you could pitch a baseball at 90% the speed of light. (Answer: everything explodes.)
