Sharp looking mountain

The Curiosity rover recently returned a beautiful picture of Mt. Sharp, it’s science destination. Those horizontal layers are rocks– some composed of minerals that form in water. Curiosity’s goal is to ferret out the history of Mars recorded in those rocks. (Click for higher resolution.)
