Bad Astronomy- Fifty new exoplanets have just been announced, and they didn’t even come from the Kepler satellite. About sixteen of them are only a few times larger than the Earth, and two are in the “habitable” (a.k.a. liquid water) zone.
Meanwhile, (second half) Kepler’s candidate list has added over 500 possible expolanets, bringing the total to 1,781.
